I have a very difficult relationship with my mother. She and my father divorced about 20 years ago after 33 years of marriage. She has been very bitter toward him and men in general since the divorce. This has carried over into her other relationships, including her relations with my sisters and me. After countless issues of manipulation and expressions of hate and hurtful anger, I feel as if I need to separate from her and no longer be in contact. She claims to be a believer, but there are no fruits and she refuses to talk about things of a spiritual nature.

I don't know what to do.
