Joy in the presence of the angels of God.

Sinners repenting occasion the angels’ great rejoicing. They share the joy of the Shepherd Himself as lost sheep are found. Christ did not die for angels, yet nothing thrills them like the sight of sinners turning to the Savior. Are we contributing to the joy of angels and to the satisfaction of Christ? We were wont to sing in gospel meetings, “There are angels hovering round to carry the tidings home.” Alas, the majority of churches, destitute of soul-saving activities, send the angels away with sad hearts.
