Michelle McKinney Hammond

A graduate of the Ray-Vogue College of Design, now the Illinois Institute of Art, Michelle McKinney Hammond makes her home in Ghana, West Africa, and travels all around the world for speaking engagements. Known as the queen of reinvention and empowerment, she has authored over forty books selling over two million copies worldwide, including The Diva Principle; Sassy, Single and Satisfied; 101 Ways to Get and Keep His Attention; and Secrets of an Irresistible Woman. Michelle had a successful career in advertising as an art director, writer, and producer, receiving numerous awards for her work. After a leg injury left her bedridden for a year and a half, she decided to pursue a new career helping single Christian women find a healthy, fulfilling life, with or without a husband. Her first bestseller, What to Do Until Love Finds You: Getting Ready for Mr. Right, was published in 1997. Since then, Michelle has launched a multifaceted career as speaker, singer, producer, actress, relationship expert, and life coach, reaching men and women from all walks of life. The president of Michelle McKinney Hammond (MMH) Ministries and DivaCor LLC, Michelle received an honorary doctorate of ministry from American Bible University. She is also the visionary, pastor, and lead singer of Relevance, a unique music ministry based in Ghana that fuses rock, reggae, jazz, and African percussion. Michelle cohosted Total Living Network’s Emmy Award-winning television talk show Aspiring Women for ten years and Tri-State Christian Television’s 3D Woman for eight seasons. She recently appeared in Roma Downey and Mark Burnett’s productions of Women of the Bible on Lifetime and A.D., The Bible Continues.
