Melisa Ortiz Berry

Speaker and author Dr. Melisa Ortiz Berry is an adjunct professor at Bushnell University who has also taught at Azusa Pacific University and Calvary Chapel Bible Institute. “Encouraging, mentoring, and equipping” broad audiences through “Crown of Life Discipleship Ministries” which she heads along with her husband, Berry holds a PhD in Religion from Claremont Graduate University and a master’s degree in Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, where she worked on the Dead Sea Scrolls Project. Host of the What’s in the Word podcast and daily content creator, she and her husband, Dr. James Berry, have two daughters.
